With the advent of time more and more unemployed youths have been to Puri town to earn some money and search for employment but they are fast becoming some small criminals.

With lots of confidence and ability and the healthy life style can be an impetus for yours think and analytical abilities on some practical reasoning. Getting highly educated and after touring far and vast side of the world I observe some positive aspects and some negative aspects of environmental and some ultra human attitudinal experiences. I am today talking about Puri town of Odisha, the ancient town with Lord Jagannath temple and the beautiful sea across. This town has lots of floating populations and having their count are innumerable most of the time due to some festive and other holy related activities. With the security and safety of tourist is at premium and how to preserve it and make a good name of it has been a long thought of it. When I see the Aiina (mirror) the local news channel of Puri town distributed through cable television net work, realized the potential crime and the disturbances occurring across the city and especially nearer to sea shore. What could I think of changing this so that Puri will be safer, even the locals of Puri like me also have the feeling that sometimes it is getting out of hand. Why this change of mind set and why it is revolving such a way so much so that sometimes we see through the Puri news channel some horrible stories never ever explained and imagined. It is right I cannot make it safer within some spans of time but with this writing more people will know and it may induce more security and more feeling of safe in times to come.

As of what I observed there are lots of betel shops across the Puri town at various locations. Betel is Asian pepper plant whose dried leaves are chewed with betel nut (seed of the betel palm) . There lot of people gathered and mostly the unemployed youths and half old aged persons and they used to stay their longer durations and talking and making some harsh comments to tourist and to some extent to girls some times. This is undesirable as this is against the Puri culture. With the advent of time more and more unemployed youths have been to Puri town to earn some money and search for employment but hey are fast becoming some small criminals. They stand nearer to betel shop and try to intimidate the tourists and if the tourist happens to react then they will beat them and loot the money from them and this has been happening. There are lots of talks about betel shops selling the unlawful products and they are selling without the knowledge of administrator. With the use of these unlawful substances you so called unemployed youths and half old persons become aggressive and trying to sow their aggressiveness through various ways and this tends to become more and more volatiles situations.

Take one example , I happens to stand by the side when I saw suddenly one biker with two persons seating came across one small lane and struck their bike to a four wheel SUV vehicle and that vehicle  is from the outside of Odisha as the number plate suggests. Then they try to argue with the SUV vehicle tourist and they dragged them out to open and try to misbehave with them and want ten thousand money because of this. In fact the accident was done by the bikers not by the SUV driver. The SUV driver protested, and suddenly both the bikers started behaving badly to tourist. They are eight in numbers and there are ladies among them. By seeing this , some good guys like goes to the spot and stops the bikers from taking more advance actions as the bikers knew what is anticipated by them can be shaming situation so  that is why in fear they ran away. This seems some familiar stories where the problems of tourists are mounting. I have analyzed this and found that the crust of the problem is all the small and larger betel shops. There are selling unlawful substances and with it the so called urban unemployed are getting aggressive by it. If I am at the helm of the affair of the state, my first mission is to check this unwanted grow of betel shops and make it organized and inspected so that unlawful substances should not be sold and the bad atmosphere of the city can be removed.

There is no point to establish a betel shop nearer to the great architect of Odisha Biju Pattnaiks�s statue nearer to Puri hospital. Why that shop is open sometime, in fact many a times through out night? Why one betel and tea shop in front of college square selling cigarettes, should not be observed some decently wile allowing these shops. Students are meant to study not take the cigarettes and that shop should be re4moved for the good of students. Similarly, I have observed some half old persons in the late forties have been taking cigarettes in front of college square at that shop and making some weird comments to the girls and even to the boys. This seems to be a unrealistic agony for them to desire such life but why they throw some savaged and unimaginable bad mouthed words to the prospective citizen of India? Similarly , the betel shops nearer to Puri hospital which is the only ISO approved hospital of whole of Odisha , my be I am wrong, but this discipline of not letting the pan and cigarettes shops  brewing around this area should be banned or properly checked and attained by the administrator. As these betel shops through some malicious selling of illegal substances are becoming richer day by day and they are being protected by some sort of goons of the area. This is fast becoming some sort of weird situations here. I will like to change this and control this and to make the paradigm shift so that all will be safe.

This theory may sound loftiest to dear readers but this is true as most of the criminals and goons are being healthy by this sort of marketing of illegal substances through this suspicious betel net work. Who will stop this, the Lord Jagannath will do this one day as per custom, the Lord always tend to act late but when he acts it is all over for the demons and I call all the so called betel shops as the demons.

Hoary past of odisha

Odisha is the State of Indian Union along the eastern coast of India peninsula also known as Bharat . Odisha exists from Mahabharata epic times known as Kalinga  Kingdom. The Mauryan king of Magadha also invaded Odisha in 261 B.C. because of its prosperity and hoary past. Odisha people Odia known for their cavalry and courage. Though King Ashoka won the battle but the Odia persons brevity and the zeal to protect their motherland from the clutches of then the outsider had been a courageous story and the way the river Daya flows with blood shed proves the courage of Odia persons who fought to save their earth mother from the then foreigners. River Daya still flowing outside of now capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar and its sound is still vibrating the courage and the patron of Odia people who killed but never gave away their motherland to the then foreigners in their life time. Even during the British acquisition of India , Odisha is the last State to be acquired by them though they have not control of all the territories.

In case of King Ashoka , it was the conqueror who was conquered in the famous Kalinga war. The ancient State of India , Kalinga and now Odisha rose to prominence under the almighty King of Kharvella. He was patron of Jainism, in the second half of first century B.C. Other prominenet rulers are Keshari dynasty and Ganga dynasty. The Kalinga school of architecture was at its best during these times.

The significant architectural development had been completed during his times. The Lord Jagannath of Puri ,The Lingaraj Temple of Bhubaneswar, and the Sun Temple of Konark.

In the modern times Odisha is flourished with waterfalls, nature, sea beaches, rivers, temples, ancient architectures, mountains. Some of the monuments and records dated back to third century B.C. and still now it is being protected and managed. Chilka lake is the only lake through out the world to have it attianance records from third century B.C. and for this any examination and new experiment has been done with this lake as due to the eminent presence of records from the long back of third century B.C.

In the entire area of Odisha , there are four thousand monuments including Jaina caves, Budhist monasteries , Hindu Temples  , domed and pillar structures ,palaces and many more.

The capital city:
Bhubaneswar is the capital city of Odisha; it is a modern city and a planned city. It is popularly known as the temple city of Odisha. The famous Lingaraj Temple built is eleventh century, the Mukteswara temple built in tenth century with famous stony arch entrance with fascinating sculpture attached to it. Tales from Panchtantra imbibed within its stone walls and this shows the proud possession of Odisha architecture supremacy and it is indigenous and original.
The Rajarani temple is famous for its floral, animal and human sculptures. The temple has no deity and an unusual tower this sounds mystery. The Parsurameswara temple is nearer to Mukteswara temple; it is a Shiva temple and built in seventh century B.C. It has featured sculptures like amorous couples, animals and floral motifs. The Svrnajaleswara temple and Vaital temple are other attractions. The Yogini temple at Hirapur is fifteen kilometres from Bhubaneswar is one of the four Yogini temples of India.

The Buddhist influence at Bhubaneswar:

Ashoka rock edict situated eight kilometres south of the city is perhaps he earliest rock cut sculpture in India. On the Dhaulligiri , the modern day architecture built in Indo-Japaneese collaboration along the river Daya the beautiful Vishwa Shanti Stupa. RNI GUMPHA (Queen�s Cave is) is the largest cave with ornate carvings. It is a double storeyed cave. The Hati gumpha (elephant�s cave) created by King Kharvella depicting Jainism teachings. The ancient township and may be the capital of Odisha in the second century B.C. has been excavated and it is situated towards Puri from Bhubaneswar which is at the South Eastern side of Bhubaneswar.

The Odisha State Museum , Nandan Kanan Zoological Park are some of the famous places to visits inside Bhubaneswar. Nandan Kanan Zoological Park has white tiger safari, Lion safari, ropeway,, toy train ,migratory birds viewing with a natural lake boating faculties. The park is situated twenty kilometres from Bhubaneswar the capital city and it is generally closed on Mondays. Another attraction is the Atri Hot Sulphurs Spring which is forty two kilometres from Bhubaneswar, nearer to the famous Hatkeshwara Temple. It has one convenient bathing complex for the tourists as this water is considered good for the3 skin due to its natural effects.

How to get there:

To reach Bhubaneswar, you have many convenient routes; one can fly from Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Mumbai. You can catch regular running trains to and from Bhubaneswar with regular intervals and timings. Superfast and Rajdhani express trains also pass through these routes.

Puri:

It is sixty kilometres by road from Bhubaneswar and thirty five kilometres from Konark by road through marine drive route. It has direct superfast trains from all over India. Puri is the major pilgrim centre of all over the world. The fame of Puri attributes to famous Lord Jagannath Temple. This temple is built and rebuilt from four century B.C. and it is famous for its renowned car festivals ,its annual festive occasion where the Lord Jagannath comes out to the Grand road with His sister and elder Brother to Gundicha temple. Within the precincts fo the temple VImala, Lakshmi, Vishnu and innumerable Gods and Goddesses and the famous Ananda Bazar the biggest food market of the world. Shri Lokanath honured shrine of Lord Shiva is situated on the outskirts of the city. The famous Atharnalla bridge nearer to Puri spans over seven hundred centuries , during that time , where the now hospital situated there used to be a large river but now that river disappears. The Atharanalla bridge is the enginnering marvel at its best and it is still strong and continuing , can you believe this , even some of the modern day marvels still reeling under one centuries but this bridge is staying permanent and making the route to Puri as normal and ever lasting.

Balighai has the river Nuanai (new river) which is eight kilometres from Puri and it is at the north side of the city , it is a famous picnic spot with colourful migratory birds and deer moving here and there. Balighai is famous for its milk production and milk related products.

In Puri in most of the houses domestic help used to do various home works like that of cleansing of utilities, For the last two years their wages now been on the rise and it is on the higher side in each year sometimes they increase the wages in the month of October and sometimes they increase the wages in the month of January in the new year. Now days the number of domestic helps in the decline due to some positive government policies. There lots of money to earn from various positive government policies and for this now the trend is changing. They are now getting more than two hundred days of earning opportunities apart from other earning from various government welfare measures. This adds to the problem for various house holds. Due to the scarcity of domestic helps , there salary is on the rise and they are also now more ad more demanding and also their work standards is on the decline. They are now working at more than sixteen houses and this is obvious as how could they manage the house holds by going to various far and wide places of Puri town and the standard of work I on the decline. Every homes priority is for cleaning and for all the essential works is done by the domestic help but with increase in time the duration of the work is on the decline and the standard of the work is one the decline.

Sometimes there behaviors are also rude and if you say some rude words or some mild rude words they will complain about everything. Now it seems that this being the most worrying factor. How to get rid of it? As the more you increase the wages of the domestic help they tend to reduce the work loads and try to finish the work in a hurry. The house holds works seems to be a difficult task and how it is to be solved and how easily it can be done and finished. What should be the problem no one can solve it? As the government can not solve it as it is doing the welfare works and that too it is also extending to richer people through Adhar cards and other welfare measures. Now the next problem I to find the persons who plucks the coconut from trees. Now the new generation of coconut pucker s has been evading from their earlier possessions. Now their new generations not doing these coconut plucking professions and for this there is strenuous lack of these coconut pluckers. Now their fathers has been doing this profession and for this serious lack of coconut pluckers and all the house holds having the coconut trees is feeling the brunt of it.

One American couple in the mid thirties, few days back boarded at Puri. They were walking by the side of road nearer to the sea at the northern side of Puri. Suddenly, there appeared two to three visitors from the background; they rode with a bike, and try to snatch away the American lady from her husband who was walking nearer to the footpath. They successfully kidnapped the American lady from her husband and try to go speedily with their bike. One riter (constable of Police) was standing by the side of road with his duty, jumped upon the moving bike and tried his best to rescue the lady. The bikers kicked the lonely riter and ran from that place with speedy moving vehicle. The honest and duty bound constable called his officer immediately and the officer rushed to that spot within two minutes and send signed messages to locals who are standing at the other side of the square, through hand signs, while the biker of three persons and the kidnapped lady were approaching at the other end of the square, then the locals who were ready, then jumped on the bike without any care of their life stopped the bike and the officer reached and with the help of the locals managed to diffuse the bikers and compelled them to surrender . The ugly bikers were caught hold up, arrested and taken to custody and to be produced to the honorable court of justice. The America lady rescued within five minutes of kidnapping from bikers safe and then her American husband reached their with the help of some other locals and both are relieved.

How this ugly incident could have been aborted on the first hand. Puri’s local population is very meager , they are very understandable, congenial and friendly to tourists. But with the regular flow of floating population due to high density of tourists purring into Puri from different region of Bharat and world as well as from all the thirty districts of Odisha, they are behaving badly. As the bikers are not belonging to Puri they are outsiders but at Puri they try to do this bad incident and with the help of vigil locals they are now behind the bars.

What safeguard a tourist should observe while at Puri:

1. Stay nearer to temple; do not stay nearer to sea beach.

2. The most crimes occurred at Puri nearer to the far side of beach, try to avoid going to the lonely places nearer to the far side of the sea especially the Balliapanda,diga pahandhi and the Netaji Subhasha Bose road area most dangerous.

3. Do not talk much with the shop keepers, they came from various places and districts of Odisha and they are always indulging in cheating to the visitors.

4. Do not go to sea beach during 12 noon to 3 P.M. and return from the sea beach at 7 P.M.

5. Do not board at a lowly rented Hotel; the most crime took place there so it is better to avoid these.

6. Try to get advice from the police on duty about yours queries not to any persons reside there as at Puri as it is very difficult to identify locals there, they will be all and nearer to temple.

The unnoticed

The unnoticed is a peculiar name to start with but it is true , it some what not comprehending tom find it out. Puri is a religious place worth for and renewed for through out the world. Shimmering and dynamic continuous tourists and also a better place to live in for and worth for. There are lots of beautiful places of Puri and lots of ugly places. The Lord Jagannath temple, the beauty full sea and also the Puri Hospital a beautiful government hospital worth to look at it. It is ISO certified and the cleanliness and the procedure has been astounding. There are many dark sides of Puri town like the gonndas and also the heavy and open selling of drugs out in the open which the good citizens neither can comprehend nor shout it against. There are lots of places especially the betel shops where these narcotic substances have been sold openly and they are backed by anti social elements. I have travelled far and wide in India as a child and then as student and then as travelers but never seen such an open selling of drugs and without fear. Just in front of beautiful hospital which is renowned in India for its wonderful treatment, nearer to VIP lanes and nearer to the great Biju Pattnaik the great leader of Odisha his statue , there are some betel shops and also it is feared as people usually say those medicine shops may have been distributing this illegally. These write up is solely for the purpose of to educate the travelers so that they will stay away from these areas as due to large selling of narcotics in these areas some of the unemployed youths has been caught within in these habits then they feel as if they are the Don of those areas and fearing the shopkeepers and travelers and tourist to gain money so that they will but the newer ones of narcotics. This is a cycle for them, after every two to three years from their group of narcotics one or two becomes mad, and then the new ones added. The worrying part is that they are using the narcotics in the social areas and the pollution from their cigarettes is disturbing the citizens and good persons. Mostly these groups of narcotics persons use these narcotics at the Salbegha Lane and in front of VIP lane the famous road inside Puri but sadly no one is opposing them and they are taking these narcotics out in the open. The bhang shop at the beginning of the Salbega lane and it is not licensed and it is suppose that he is also selling the narcotics , but still to date he is selling as usual. The shop is at Salbega lane, it is nearer to VIP road, it is visible, and he is doing the business and is growing. There are some medicinal shops , as some people say is selling the narcotics secretly and this should be stopped and the betel shops around here is selling the narcotics as it is fearer and it is been heard but still to date they are continuing as usual.

This write up is for the tourists to make them aware as due to narcotics the antisocial elements are becoming violent and this is not good for Puri. The author belongs to Puri and he is saddened by this state of the affair of Puri.

The new year at Puri

The fantastic new year in the prospect with beautiful climate ushering with coolness decreasing slightly and slow drizzle in between. The people all around India flocking into Puri to see the glimpse of ours Lord of the Universe. The Jagannath and his elder brother and little sister. The number of people seems unbelievable high. There is no inch of land left where the people have not occupied. The flooding of population can be a challenge for the administrator and the administrator has done their duty fully accomplished with flying colors. The entire Puri town is lighted and the streets lights switched on entire night making it a visible and well cleaned. The visitors can take some precautions like go to sea in the front side of Puri Hotel, do not go to the far and wide of sea as they are lonely places and there crime happens. Puri Sea has the tendency of becoming dangerous; just touch the water of sea to get purified as there is popular belief. Going to the vegetable market just experienced on the new years day even at four P.M. the number of people reach at Puri, it is unbelievable but it is true to the sense. It takes about twenty minutes tom cross the grand Bajaj square. The queue to see the Lord Jagannath and the Lord’s popularity brings a huge number of devotees to Puri town. For the visitors watch out for the auto rickshaws. The most of the crime take place in the auto rickshaws, this is not o malign them but few auto rickshaw drivers have been committing the crime so always stay alert while sitting in any auto rickshaws. As visitors always be careful while to talking any shop keeper as most of them are very argumentative and you might fall in their trap suddenly. When shopping try not to give five hundred rupees to shop keepers as they will take the money from you acting as if they are talking in mobile and after few moments they will say they have received one hundred instead of five hundred rupees. So, it is better to avoid them and fall in their trap. Do not argument with the shop keepers as they are mostly criminals and back by some criminal head as you argument them they will unite and they can hit you so it is better to avoid them. So, it is better not to argument with them. This is not to terrify any visitors but it is always a great idea is to go with a caution so that you will not face any danger or disturbances.

The Indian Railways reservation counter at Puri

For all foreign readers I want to convey the message, India is changing. It is changing thick and fast. Puri is a small town with prime religious significance. The local population of Puri is not very vast but the floating population of Puri is very huge. That is why lots of people come here and stay for sometime after completing the holidays goes to their native places. It has been a tremendous feeling though. Puri is connected through Indian Railways all over India; The Railways Reservation Counter of Puri is at the left side of the station. There are two counters at the Puri station for long distance reservation. The reservation counter opens at 8 A.M. everyday. The problem is that in most of the times in the left counter which is preoccupied with the travel agents for over an hour, till 9 P.M. This is disgusting as the persons behind them will always have to wait over an hour to get the ticket. It seems that the counter clerk inside the Railway Reservation Counter is actively cooperating with the travel agents.

In one such day one person wants to reserve ticket to New Delhi from Puri to attend the interview. He rushed to reservation counter at 7.30 P.M., only to observe that the travel agents are already in the row covering four person’s slot and the person satisfied that he will get the tickets within thirty minutes. There are four persons ahead of him and that will take thirty minutes at best , he still that time do not know those persons ahead of the row are travel agents. He stays at the row adjacent to the wall counter. After one hour was passed, at 9 A.M. He saw the four travel agents seemed to receive a hell lot of tickets as against the well prescribed rule and set of action. He was surprised to knowing this; his wait is becoming more and weirder. Then that person complained to the travel agents, suddenly all the four agents who were at the row tried to get him into and quarrel with him. That person belongs to Puri, the agents not knew of him, that person overpower them in terms of speech and drove them away and supported by other persons at the rows. The million dollar question is why the booking counter clerk is giving the travel agents so many tickets at a time to those travel agents. Why the booking counter clerk is violating the norm? Are there any prior arrangements between booking counter clerk and the travel agents? Why that counter clerk of Railways benefitting them? Why those travel agents getting tickets in fake names?

The winter at Puri

Puri is a place nearer to sea side with lots of visitors and devotees pouring into it through out the year. The summer here is not hot but the humidity is super high with lots of perspiration and lots of intolerance to corky summer. The rainy season has plenty of rains and sometimes the nearby villages flooded with water, then the flood relief, and other aids to them. The summer is very long though the higher temperature is not so in terms it’s Para but the feeling of heat is great and higher due to humidity inclement to the top. In the summer the wind seems to stop and the clouds hovering up and above the sky refuses to relent and increasing the heat as the hot wind cannot escape form the soil making it more and more difficult to bear. The winter starts from first week of December and it is the sever winter if you compare with the standards of Odisha. The soaring cold, the cool wind, and the penetrating wind with medium humidity are severely affecting health as this gives rise to dental problem and limbs problems. I cannot describe how this cold is ruing the body; it is more and more difficult to sustain this. The cool wind from the Bay of Bengal is snoozing onto the mind and making the whole process dim and very ache towards side brain and this is very difficult. The cold graph is self increasing and it will be higher at the end of the month with severe winter and very intolerable cool. What is the reason behind this and why the winter at Puri is always a danger to the health of the people here? Unable to devise this aspect seems and think a lot but cannot understand so far and that is why I wrote this write up. Some say it is the cold winter winds coupled with the saline climate from the sea is making the thing worse and some say it is the greenery of this ancient town is doing this phenomena but still not sure and no scientific backing of these facts. The heavy winter is taking its toll and it is better to cover yours ear while at the early morning or at the evening, you should cover the entire ear so that it will not harm yours body. The cold and the cool winds is making the matter worse with as it is entering through yours ear and making you attain to the cold. Fell the cold and feel the heat at Puri with lots of extreme climatic conditions and it is advisable for tourists to come with prepared with woolen clothes especially for protection on ears and head so that they will not be affected by it. Puri has the climatic conditions of both the extremes with lots of intolerable hot with high humidity but low on hat temperature and on the other hand in the winter it is soaring cold and shivering to the body and mind, think about it.

Energy is precious and it is very important for the survival of mankind. Energy and persistence conquer all things. This revolution, the information revolution, is a revolution of free energy as well, but of another kind: free intellectual energy. It's very crude today, yet our Macintosh computer takes less power than a 100-watt bulb to run it and it can save you hours a day. What will it be able to do ten or 20 years from now, or 50 years from now? To day I will be writing on the misusages of electricity and how this can be prevented. This is of the news in around of the area of Puri town nearer to Hospital square , where many small and large business going on and it is very crowded and this place is a square and due to the nearby hospital this place is very much crowded with populations pouring nearby villages and sub urban. The energy of the mind is the essence of life. It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan. It is only through labor and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage that we move on to better things. As here any one can see lots of road side vendors with small shops and having the jump line. What is jump line, it is the connection illegally and directly from the booths. It is wonderful how much time good people spend fighting the devil. If they would only expend the same amount of energy loving their fellow men, the devil would die in his own tracks of ennui. People used to get it free and I cannot understand why the state electricity unable to catch them red handed as they are dong openly, running fridge and toher high electricity charges. All the breaks you need in life wait within your imagination; Imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth.

When the legal electricity connection members calls to the electricity office then the mechanic comes slowly after one or two hours and then they will not listen to you as we try to describe the problem but they will do what they thinks to do. Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes shine to the stars. Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait. The grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas. Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal.

This is surprising as in Odisha electricity board is privatized and even in this privatized situation there is lots of looting of electricity. The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have. Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have. I've got mad energy for days. That's what people can't get their minds around. They say, 'Oh, he's going to crash.' They try to apply all these common terms to a guy who is not common. I don't fit into their little box. Sometimes the monthly electricity board member who comes to check the meter reading suggests fixing the meter for monthly of 500 bucks so that no higher expenses of electricity bill will not come and also he said that he had done this at many homes in this near by areas. This is really disgusting we live in ours country and try to make it more and more successful  but the corruption is rampant even to the lower structure of electricity meter reading agent this is disgusting , I scolded him mildly and said I am the righteous person I will pay what I have spend on electricity.

Truth is beauty and beauty is truth

As a research scientist, I am hardly staying at my native place to stay for long. But when I research and have the opportunity, I start to explore my places far and wide, remerging beautiful places on this place the college , the highways, the seas , the restaurants, the temples and the locality. I experience dynamism and fell it is the key to life. Each and every day something is changing here and there. The possibilities are enormous. It seems am becoming stranger to my native place! Hardly, people knowing me at all. Back to my past, my college and now the deemed university , the same stretches of trees slightly sloppy, the old archived college walls, the same posters stand in and stand out and in the next day posters gone and new breed of posters. Seems a competitive spirit is going on in pasting the posters and removing it. This shows how competition can be a cruel. The road hereby college now been half broken but the front side is good and new. Reaching to my college is feeling entirely on my past experiences reviving my glorious days and painting with the modern times. It is the lovely climate; it is the last week of November.

On the side gate of college and on its left side a cycle stand temporary sitting meant for college students, a temporary shop. He sits near the walls where urinals water spreads and the cycle mechanic is on his job. The beauty of my place reminds me of the truth is beauty and beauty is truth.

Man made dust storms

In the morning times when the tranquility prevails the roads to the empty, by standers hardly there gazing at his roads. They are hardly there. Municipal taps are open. Water running an d flowing through it effortlessly. No stop cap on it. Water resource the precious water is being drained like no other reminds me of all the boastful talk of keep and save water. The road and the houses embedded within with plenty of local people with their respective families busy in their house hold activities. Reminds me of all the boastful talk is of renewed personas saying about the preciousness of water and saving water. There are roads at the both sides, the house holds, and it is brilliant space to walk it for in the morning with safer locality. Then came the square, on one side the temple is standing and on the other side small width road well built and hardly crack on the road. A good way is to walk in the morning with a very good speed with a stick on hand. There is the heavenly atmosphere with the coolness dipping, slowly the climate is going towards cooler side, and the morning walk is passionate. The winter is approaching. At the pleasant morning there is the peculiar tendency of locals here to sweep the roads in the front areas of their house. Thus creating the huge dust and then place becomes airy with the dusts and pollutants. They believe if they sweep in front of their house, then Laxmi Maa (Goddess of Money) will come to their house through out t the day pouring a lot of money. This is ridiculous and a bad behavior. The person who is crossing this house will be washed with dust and will catch a lot of related diseases. The morning freshness will come to a halt with this small-man made dust storms. The innocent greedy people thinks even the road in front of their house is their property. Thus in order to garner more money they sweep the dust and making an artificial dust storms, then they wash it with water. So, I have to fight with this peculiar habit each and every day in the journey of my morning walk with the artificial dust storms. To add insult to the injury then they wash it with water and making the road watery and temporary non- functional. Thus my awful short journey always have this ponderous and terrible break ups by closing my face while crossing over all these3 temporary storms and making a short high jumps while at each and every short watery pond area in the roads.

It may be a surprise or may be a un believable fact but it is truth and I have tried to decipher the reason behind it and somewhat find the clue. In this area predominantly there are many shops of temporary in nature, due to visitors delight many shops opened for profits and they use vehemently the polithin pack which cannot be degenerated and thus the big drainage system got struck with these polithins and the water clogging happens and then the floods after some what medium rains. This is a very precarious situation to believe it in but thee fact of the matter is that this  is happening and the water flooding very dynamic evil effects also.

Lots of skindisease , diarrhea fequent and watery bowel movements; can be a symptom of infection or food poisoning or colitis or a gastrointestinal tumor are the main disease which is appearing to some persons resides theres. The most important problem  is the drinking water, as the drinking water circulation pipes goes through these Badashankha  and due to some leakages  those dirty waters mixes with the drinking water and thus enabling some bad disease and contaminated water.

The most dreaded problem is from the electricity as when there is a mini flood like situation and is most of the elactical standings can be earthed and currented thus making the water totally current and thus elctrocutation can be a several and fatal so while travelling to Puri and especially at the rainy season beware of these facts. Try to buy the bottled water and do not drink or eat from the road side vendors as you may fall ill try to avoid food from outside and take food from a good and clean and permanent restaurant. Try to get good fruit        as good fruits are available plenty nearer to municipal markets.

If you are at Puri and it is raining for 30 minutes then try to get back to yours accommodation or hotels as most of the area will be watered and above problems you may face. At Puri rain hardly pours for  thirty minutes to one hour but the after effects of rain can stop you for more than two hours and if you are struck in such a situation then my advice will be to call the electricity department to cut down the power and then walk or stay that place still all the water get drained.

This is a story of a city which is more than 5000 years old, holding to its ancient culture and assimilating some other culture and making the world a better place to live in. This city can be called as a floating city due to its mass number of visitors incoming to it through various festivals making the city a joy. This city consists of a world renowned temple and a wonderful sea beach, which is rare and almost impossible to believe it in. I will be not be describing the traits of this city, I will not be describing the character and history of this great city but I will be writing about in the coming words the difficulties faced by this city due to inclement rain and heavy

downpours which till not be told or described.

I am clearing the mess of words and also now deleting the suspense cloud , the city am talking about the ancient city of Puri , the place where the Lord Jagannatha existing with his elder brother Lord Ballbhadra and little sisterDevi Subhadra.  The English wor Juggernaut , A massive inexorable force that seems to crush everything in its way, has been derived of. This place is sacred for Hindus, and lots of other religious personnel also visit here from other religious faiths . Today I will not be describing here about the religious conglomeration but instead some practical problems.

Badasankha means the big bridge a structure that allows people or vehicles to cross an obstacle such as a river or canal or railway  is a place inside ancient Puri town and is one of the important places due to the fact that the annual renowned car festival route is thorugh it . Badasankha now been converted to populated locality having many shops and hospitals and people of various high class lived here. The most disappointing fact is that when it rains veen for one hour this whole place of Badashnka been flodded with water which you cannot believe. Badasankha is hardly two kilometers away from Lord Jgannatha temple and on the route of Gundicha temple so very important and significant place but it is been devastrated always with mini floods whever there is rain.
