These article on “build your own robot” will be elementary ones and these will be a series of key fundamentals in building yours own robot or humanoid. I will try to avoid the daunting mathematical calculations and the technical contingents. These guides will be useful for professionals with embedded systems knowledge as well as it will be self sufficient for lay man or students of other disciplines. Robot can be called intelligent machines or machines with artificial intelligence and that can walk ,talk, hear and can be fascinating and amazing.
We will first learn the basic blue print of robot and try to understand its alchalic part.. In the later stages of this series of articles we will learn about a bit on electronics, mechanics, and the programming part. Be cautioned while making this robot you may have electric hazards but normally we will deal with 12V DC but still be cautioned to proceed with care.
Introduction to robotics:
It is an area concerned with all the practical use of robots. It is a brobdingnagian field and its scope is ever expanding and it has more scope and foundations like never before. Broadly speaking in general sense robots are of three types:
1.Operator controlled,
2.semi-autonomous
3.autonomous.
No sensor requisition or processing units for automated functionality as it is controlled by human.
Semi autonomous:
A bit like hybrid version of robot a mixture of two kinds of stocks that is operator controlled and automatic. They have the processor which can act in accordance with the operator, it is process driven and synchronized.
Autonomous:
As the name suggests no operator requisition. These have processors, sensors, and actuators (motors). Autonomous robots resemble the humans and these robots are most fascinating and most followed and sought after. Sensors takes the signal and the processor runs it and the actuators continues the process and all the process goes on simultaneously with one single parabolic phenomenon.
